Tachibana made a bad comment about Minami's hair, Minami made a bad comment about his... But looks like that wasn't going to turn into a fight, "People, let's stop this, Tachibana's hair is great and Minami's needs some improvement, but it's not that bad either,"
Tachibana was probably having a very hard time trying to be nice to others, but he said he was trying and that was the most important thing, right? Come on Yuuki, don't judge people like that, you hate when people do the same thing to you! And Inoue was trying to pick a fight with Tachibana, ugh. She hoped those two weren't going to bicker the whole time, that'd be pretty annoying. She knew there was a line separating manly bonding and fights and had no idea on how close or far those two were from crossing that line. She'd have to keep an eye on them or something.
"Anyone else coming with us?"

Upon seeing the others grand and vivid memories swam back to Ayumu. Grand and vivid memories of why he hated highschool. Oh how he could count the ways and times he'd rather be at home playing video games, or card games, or board games. And here he though Hope's Peak Academy would be different. He sighed to himself. But social hierarchy was the last of his concerns at the moment. He'd woken up in the school with a strange bunch of fellow student with absolutely no one else around.
Hiroto Inoue...if he remembered correctly that one was a SHSL pilot. But his attitude just made Ayumu think he was a SHSL Douchebag. Insult his apperance? Check. Hitting on a chick? Check. Make a stupid joke? Check. Bonus points for hitting on said chick in a weird enviornment. Double Lightning Round bonus points because he immediately hit on another girl afterwards. He'd at best be the stupid side character to the protagonist in the game that always ended up dying quickly. Ayumu ignored his snide comment and turned away from him frowning.
The next girl was Ayako Ito. Wait...Ayako...Ayako...Ayako...Oh! Ayako Ito! She was the SHSL Internet Celebrity! Some of his fans were huge fans for her too but personally? He never saw the appeal in her. Then again he didn't see the appeal in a lot on non-gaming things. But hey, if his fans liked her maybe she wasn't as bad as Ayumu thought she'd be? At least she didn't outright insult her.
Misaki Takenaka, huh? Yeah he had 0 idea who she was. Apparently she was the SHSL Botanist? At least she seemed open to being friends with people.
Yuuki Yukimura. Just by looking at her he could tell what her SHSL talent was and Ayumu could connect the dots between her talent and name quickly. Even if he had no clue how one even became a SHSL Ganguro Girl he didn't want to question her. Those chicks could be super scary when they wanted to be. He perked up at her answers. "Oh! Thanks! ... W-wait! A ROBOT?!" This day was just getting worse and worse wasn't it.
All the strange confusion in his head broke when her heard a cute gasp from behind someone. The tan blonde girl walked over to Ayumu and he could immediately tell what was going to happen next. Yup, she was a fan of him. He grinned from ear to ear."Really? That's awesome! I'm always glad to meet a fan!" Ayumu shook the girls hand gently. "What's your name? And what's your talent? And what's your likes or dislikes or-!" Ayumu stopped himself short. He always got this way. Not even just around girls but around people in general. He'd always just go on and on without stopping because he didn't know where to stop. "You-you can just tell me your name and talent...eheheh..."
Of course he did hear that Powerpuff Girl lookalike behind him make some insult about his smell. Ayumu furrowed his eyebrows. Man in front of a fan too? How lame. He turned away frow the tan girl and frowned. "Like your one to talk Miss Mystery. You think any of us smell like roses?" Although that caused him pause. If no one here smelled exactly clean then how long had they been out? Ayumu knew for a fact he had a bath before he came to the school. Speaking of which he'd need to have a bath as soon as possible. He hoped that this school even had a place to bathe.
Lastly he noted that the majority of the group was splitting off from the entrance. "I'm going to stay here. I mean, I just got here...might as well stuck around a while, right?"

Marching on ahead of everyone, Rin had no idea just how many followers she gained in her pursuit. In all honesty, she didn't know where to go, but she knew she just had to be away from that princess. The different voices calling to her were muffled while she was in her trance, but she eventually picked up that at least Hiroto and Akira were following her. Looks like the manly bonding time would happen after all!
She would be silent throughout the whole journey, only facing straight ahead, relying on her peripheral vision for her immediate surroundings. Suddenly, she stopped in front of two rooms. If the labels on the doors were anything to go by, they were classrooms. She then turned around, not really paying attention to anyone, rolling her stick in her mouth.
"Okay, so... On your left we apparently have two classrooms. Before we go in, did anyone wake up around here?"

((ooc: i typed up this whole big ass post and it didn't go through, so i'm pissed)) Akira frowned as Hiroto began to pester him. This boy was so frustrating! Just ignore him, Akira. He thought. But Akira was too pissed to ignore Hiroto. "Hey guys," Akira began. "Does everyone else hear this annoying noise? It sounds like a cross between cats being slaughtered and nails being scraped down a chalkboard." With those last words, he glared straight at Hiroto, grinning a tiny bit.
When Rin asked her question, Akira shook his head. "I woke up what seemed to be a gym." He said, frowning. The girl had assumed the role of leader, and Akira didn't really mind. Normally, he'd try and lead, but he knew that if he did, Hiroto would be fighting with him the whole way.
Speaking of the boy, Akira caught himself taking occasional glances at him. Ugh! This was infuriating. Maybe...Maybe Akira should just apologize for being so rude. While he was at it, he should probably apologize to the split-ends girl as well. She wasn't here though, so he'd save that for later.
Wait. What was Akira thinking!? Akira? Apologize? Those words didn't belong in a sentence together unless the words separating them were 'does not'.
After all, Hiroto had started it.
But still... Akira found himself grabbing Hiroto's wrist. "Uh. I...uh....just wanted to say...uh," Akira frowned. NOPE. ABORT MISSION. He couldn't do this. But still... "I'm sorry." Akira spat out the words, and immediately regretted them. So, quickly, he spoke again. "I'm sorry that you're a SHSL Douchebag! Oooooh!"

Chinatsu sighed as Akira left. "He sure is a handful." She said, frowning at the boy's retreating figure. She then turned her attention back to Ayumu. She shyly smiled, and rubbed the back of her head. "I uh!" Chinatsu giggled a little at Ayumu's forwardness. "I'm Chinatsu Minami. Super High School Level Surfer." She grinned. "It's very nice to meet you!" Chinatsu sniffed delicately. Ayumu didn't smell as bad as everyone was making it out to be.
Sorta like how Akira's hair wasn't absolutely awful. Err...Maybe it was. Oh well. At least Akira had left, so she wouldn't be distracted by it anymore. At Masuyo's question, Chinatsu looked to the short girl. "I actually don't know." She said honestly. She presumed she was only out for a few hours, but honestly, they could have been out for days.
"Does anyone have a watch or the date? ...Or a cellphone for that matter?" It was probably a silly question, but Chinatsu needed to call her older brother and tell him what was going on. Also, she wanted to check to see how her dog, Bear, was doing without her.
Bear was a white newfoundland, and the two had been inseparable ever since Chinatsu met him. While Chinatsu's friends came and went, Bear was always there for her.
Bear and her brother were the only ones in the world Chinatsu could rely on to be there for her.

Hiroto felt a pang of hurt at the other boy's harsh words, but plastered on a grin anyway. Stay cool, he told himself. "Harsh, Pinkie,"he said. What had originally started out as playful poking fun at the boy had turned into all-out war for the pilot. Akira's sass had caught him off guard; usually when he messed with other boys they would swear and come up with a lame comeback before brushing it off, but not Akira. No, it seemed he took it to heart, or at least held grudges.
Rin's cute voice interrupted his thoughts. "I don't think any of us did," he guessed, then shrugged. "But who knows, man." He had woken up in a hallway by the bathrooms, which was, if his sense of direction was right (which it probably was - he was a pilot, after all), in the opposite way.
His heart jumped when someone grabbed his hand and his hopes skyrocketed. Was it Rin, or some other cute girl? He ran a hand through his hair before turning around and saying, "Yes, beautiful?" His smile wavered when he realized who had grabbed his wrist, and he quickly pulled his hand away. "What is it, Pinkie?" he said, trying to hide his embarrassment. I just called the hairdresser beautiful, he thought. Awkward. He smiled at the other boy's apology, but then, just as quickly as the apology came, harsh words followed. He scowled and narrowed his eyes. "Harsh," he said again. He'd been called a douchebag before, but never had it actually hurt. His mind reeled as he tried to come up with a comeback, and finally he spoke up, saying the first thing that came to mind: "At least... at least I'm not a flamboyant gay guy who gets a bit too excited by hair styles!"

"Nope, I woke up at the public bath," replied Yuuki to Rin, who became the leader of sorts. Rin looked like the leaderly type.
Ugh, Akira and Hiroto were at it again. That was starting to get on Yuuki's nerves. Why couldn't they get along?
The whole deal between the boys reminded Yuuki of... Well, it was stupid and probably not the case here, but an elementary schooler pulling the pigtails of the girl he liked. When they were both kids, Yuuki's ex boyfriend would sometimes yell at her and call her "granny" because of her white hair, because he had no clue on how to show his feelings for her.
"Calm the hell down, you two!" she said almost sternly and looked at Rin, desperate for help. If things got physical between the boys (and not in a love love way) and they didn't listen to her, then it'd be up to Rin to kick their ass. Yuuki knew very well she wasn't strong enough to keep them from fighting, after all.
Akira grabbed Hiroto's arm, Hiroto called Akira beautiful, and Yuuki realized that yeah, Hiroto most likely had a crush on Akira. The way Akira held Hiroto's arms, too... Ugh, why those two couldn't be honest about their feelings?
"Seriously guys, stop, this isn't helping anything and anyone here," she said, once again a bit sternly.

[ooc: yeah proboards is acting up so a good idea would be to copy your post before you post it just in case]
Ayako was quickly and deeply regretting joining this group. Would these two ever stop fighting? I don't think I can take a whole school year of this, she thought to herself grimly. She wanted to smack some sense into them, but she's never hit someone in her life, it probably wouldn't even hurt, she was totally weak. Ayako looked at her scrawny, fashion body and grimaced at the lack of muscle, and then looked at Rin, who was chock full of muscle. The famous internet idol felt a pang of jealousy, but decided to move towards the powerful looking girl just to get away from the fighting.
Once Ayako made her way next to Rin, she turned her head to Yuuki, who had just joined them. She motioned her hand in a way that signaled "Come over here, with us." She then heard more nasty insults thrown through the air, Akira and Hiroto were born to hate each other, she could tell. That, or they wanted to bang, but that was incredibly unlikely.
The SHSL Internet celebrity got a bit too fed up with the noise the boys were causing, "Can you guys quiet down a bit, please, It's really not helping my nerves with all this hostility in the air, but I'm not like, weak or anything." She lied.

Rin started feeling pretty bad for calling the shots in the group, but seeing as this wasn't a normal situation, someone simply had to. She half wondered if people actually trusted her to lead or if they just let her do it because she was the big scary muscle chick with a short fuse. She tried listening to everyone's individual stories about where they found themselves, but instead all she could hear was Akira and Hiroto's endless bitching.
It was cute for about five seconds, but it was going from annoying into despairingly frustrating territory. Judging from the looks on Yuuki and Ayako's faces, Rin wasn't the only one who had enough. She sighed as she heard the girls trying to tell the boys to can it, but she knew it was no use. With a conflict this far gone, the only way to get their attention was to throw a little fear-mongering into their face, and she was the only one who could effectively do it right now. She hated the mere idea of it, but it needed to be done.
Without saying a word she scooped up the boys by their collars and held them against the wall. "Hey assholes, didn't you hear us? We've had enough!" She let out a sigh so she could speak calmly, still keeping them pinned. "We're all in the same fuggin' boat here and we're getting sick and tired of your bull. So do us a favour, shut the hell up and maybe start acting like the big men you two are trying to be." The grip on their collars tightened. "Or I swear to all that's holy, I will end you. Capishe?!"
She didn't even give them a chance to answer before dropping them to the ground. She turned around to the girls, trying so very hard to show a warm, friendly smile after that sort of outburst. "Terribly sorry you had to see that... Shall we get going?"
Under most circumstances, she wouldn't be sorry in the slightest. In her neighbourhood, she would often be seen as a hero for pulling stunts like that. But this wasn't her neighbourhood, was it? This was a school for the social elite. Acting like a punk around here was just as good as telling the world she was a mass-murdering psychopath. Every single breath she took mattered here, and for the little group, those breaths might as well have been ones of a killer. God, she really hated this school...

Post by Hideyoshi Saito on May 31, 2013 20:10:03 GMT -5
[ooc: Hey yeah late to the party, forgive the intro]
"Good god you cannot be serious."
Business was important for Hideyoshi, he had everything he needed for life laid out in front of him with zero potential for complications and the board comes to THIS agreement?
Saito-Corp, his pride and joy, the fruit of all his work staffed by the people he had chosen had turned on him, his employees averaging almost 10 years on top of his current age had led them to see him as a child still, not their boss.
"It'll be great publicity, Child-CEO to attend Hope's Peak!"
"Saito-Corp sponsors the future with Hope's Peak!"
"Most of all think of what you'd LEARN!"
Ugh, learning, he had learned all he needed to turn his Father's food stand at the docks into the great financial tycoon it was today, it began with food, then utensils, the metal that made them, the money that bought them, heck, even the banks that held the money to buy the metal to make the utensils to eat the food! Saito-Corp was branching out and now he couldn't enjoy the fruits of his labour.
He stood at the Hope's Peak gates.
Basic, he thought, there was not a lot adorning the surrounding walls or grounds and Hideyoshi was instantly struck with an overwhelming sense of superiority to the establishment, maybe they needed a better financier?
With a quick stride he met the front doors to the school, a brief glance at his watch told him he was just in time, if not a teensy bit late, but who minds that? Better late than never.
"Ooooh this ain't right."
Hideyoshi hit the floor faster than his arms could respond, allowing him to french kiss it with his face's entirety.
With a rather exasperated breath Hideyoshi Saito was regaining his senses, bright lights shone above him, providing him with a lovely view of pipework rattling away and.. something burning?
Looking to his right, not trying to get up, he noticed a shutter half closed in a lazy attempt to prevent people in or out of the room. Rather begrudgingly he pulled himself to his feet and sauntered over to the shutter, ducking under it.
Straightening himself out he ignored the repeated cries and yells coming from somewhere in the building, the last thing he wanted was a whole bunch of introductions.

Akira was silent as Hiroto spit out the words. People don't like you Akira. Get over yourself. He thought, and sighed slightly, only to be pushed against the wall and told off by Rin. Akira was extremely tense as he was touched. He hated being touched. It was not pleasant for him at all. A thousand excuses swirled through Akira's head, but he couldn't even say one. Akira felt pathetic. He probably looked the part too.
As he was dropped to the ground, Akira felt numb. The only thing he could recall were Hiroto's words. "I'm not even gay." He muttered, getting up and dusting himself off. "I'm pansexual." How stupid was he? How stupid was he to be hung up on some guy's words? Especially a guy he had met maybe an hour ago. Akira was silent for a long time contemplating this. He also contemplated telling Rin not to touch him without his permission. But he figured that would only make everyone madder at him, if that was even possible.
So, Akira stayed quiet, drawing himself much more into his shell, safe in his own little world. Safe from getting hurt in the outside world. Safe from harm. He didn't need anyone else to keep him safe, as long as he had what was left of his sanity.
But that too was slipping away from him.

Post by Masuyo Watanabe on May 31, 2013 20:35:41 GMT -5
"Yeah whatever. You were the most noticeable so I called you out. Suck it up, there are more important things to worry about." Masuyo said in reponse to Ayumu. She didn't think she was heard because he had gotten into a conversation with a girl she now knew as Chinatsu. Great. They're gonna be all buddy buddy and leave me alone. This could work out to my advantage... She began to focus in on the two. First, she glanced at their pockets for any sign they had items in them but she was too far away to tell. Usually she'd do this while following people down a crowded street so she had an excuse to get close to them. In a situation like this there was no reason to stand so close, it would just creep the others out. While Masuyo didn't necessarily care about their opinion of her, she had to at least attempt to get them to like her or they'd never let their guard down.
She watched the two converse and she noticed they already seemed like good friends, although they had just met. She supposed that's what a good common interest could do to people. Blonde chick had never striked Masuyo as a gamer, but everyone has their secrets. She knew she did.
"I do. I have a phone in my purse." Masuyo spoke up once more. Carefully setting her backpack on the ground, she unzipped her purse only to be met with confusion. "Huh. Guess I forgot to pack it, damn. This freaking sucks! God this has got to be the worst thing to forget to bring..." She dropped her purse and sat on the ground in frustration. "It better have only been a little while. Something is messed up around here, and I don't appreciate it one bit!"

Post by Hiroto Inoue on May 31, 2013 20:54:05 GMT -5
Hiroto normally wouldn't mind being manhandled by a hot girl, if these were ordinary circumstances. Unfortunately, they weren't, because not only was he was in a school where the stuffed bear was the headmaster, but he had just been called a douchebag and responded accordingly. And it was inevitable that he felt bad. Never had he taken the teasing this far, and never had he felt this hurt when the victim retaliated.
He tried to wriggle out of Rin's grasp, but she still managed to push him to the ground. "God," he muttered as he got to his feet. He barely caught Akira's comment and was overcome by a sense of remorse. But the anger was there too, still strong. He felt the instinct to retaliate and ultimately gave in. "Same difference, fag," he murmured.
Almost immediately another wave of guilt washed over him. Akira looked so distraught, it made him feel bad. It was time, he decided, to suck up his ego. He was giving himself a bad rep by acting like a douche. Ladies, after all, did not dig rude assholes. After a moment's hesitation, he turned to face Akira, said, "Sorry, man. I didn't... mean it. That was low of me."

She realized Ito made a sign for her to come over closer to her and Fujioka and did as she said. Maybe they could become friends and talk about clothes or something, that'd be nice!
"No problem, I'm fine" She said to Fujioka. nervously, but smiling a bit. She and her boyfriend were unlucky enough to witness her boyfriend's best friend getting into some fights with some members of a rival biker gang. More than once, actually. But even if she had almost grown used to it, it didn't make her dislike violence any less, in fact, just the opposite.
Tachibana's reaction to what Inoue said had been... Powerful, as if Inoue had touched a delicate issue. Maybe she was right about the two, maybe she wasn't but she didn't gave a fuck about that at the momebt because Akira seemed to be upset. Like, very, very upset.
But maybe demonstrating being too worried about Akira could hurt his manly pride or whatever. She wanted to help him, wondered how she could. Meh, she'd say whatever and hope for the best. "You ok, Tachibana?"
Inoue had realized he had been an asshole and apologized, but maybe Akira was too hurt to accept that. Goddamnit, things were getting complicated.

Akira paled at that word. Fag.
Oh.
Akira said nothing. He simply couldn't say anything back to that. He seemed to be oblivious when Hiroto apologized, shrugging it off like he didn't even care. "Nah man, it's fine." He put on a brave smile, something inside of him breaking slightly. "Don't worry about it. I'm sorry for being such an asshole." His voice wavered slightly, but Akira still smiled. He stood, frozen to the floor, unable to do anything about the sadness consuming him.
"I'm really sorry everyone." He grinned sheepishly. "The way I acted was uncouth. Please forgive me." He turned to look at the girls, and then he frowned. "This nuisance will just be leaving now."
Akira quickly walked away, but it broke into a full-on sprint halfway down the hallway. He couldn't stop the tears overflowing from his eyes as he ran away, as far as he could.
